An opportunity for states looking to promote social and emotional learning in the development of policies, learning standards and guidelines to support the statewide implementation of SEL

CASEL has received funding from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to support a two-year Collaborating States Initiative (CSI). This bold effort to promote social and emotional learning (SEL) will allow CASEL to partner with five states on the development of policies, learning standards, and guidelines to support statewide implementation of SEL.

CASEL has released a Request for Proposals to launch the initiative and is encouraging state education leaders to apply.

In addition to technical assistance and consultation with experts, as well as offering a variety of resources, the project will establish a community of practice of collaborating states to support deeper learning and educational practice related to SEL.

Please visit the CSI page of the CASEL website for additional details.
