Spotlights highlighting the work of the SEL Demonstration Initiative Partners.
In 2017-2018, the Susan Crown Exchange (SCE) partnered with the Weikart Center and the Forum for Youth Investment to learn how a focus on SEL could be incorporated in to a youth program quality improvement system. Four out-of-school time networks participated in the study, bringing a wealth of knowledge about continuous quality improvement, youth program quality and SEL. These spotlights highlight their work and key lessons from each network.
These four networks incorporated SEL measurements in to their continuous quality improvement process with ten ready and willing site partners. Lessons learned were captured through focus groups, interviews and surveys.
